1944 Veterinary Journal reports cats with dwarfism gene

1982--Two "Babylegged" cats found in Rural Louisiana by Sandra Hochendel

1995 Munchkins are allowed in New Breed and Color Class in TICA , 230 cats registered

1995- June 12 Wall Street Journal  "Fur is Flying Over Rare Cat Breed Called the Munchkin"

1995-September 11 People Magazine "Rughuggers"

1995- TICA Yearbook Article "Get a Long Little Kitty" by Laurie Bobskil
